Ok Nugg, I got another out-of-the-box subject. Earlier in the week, Rajon Rondo from the Celtics said he could beat the fastest (and the best running back in the NFL) man in the NFL Chris Johnson in a 40-yard dash. I have a few problems with this, first of all Rondo fastest recorded 40 time is 4.5, which is way off the combine time of CJ. Second, I don't think Rondo is the fastest man in the NBA. Monta Ellis of the Warriors has been rumored to post sub 4.2 40-times, giving him his nickname the Mississippi Bullet. And I don't even think Monta is the fastest man in the NBA. The point I'm trying to make is forget Rondo, if we wanna see a speed fest, I think if CJ is gonna race anyone, I'd like to see Ty Lawson from our D Nuggs take on Mr. 424 for the Professional Sports Speed Title.
So I guess my question for you and everyone else out there if there is anyone I'm forgetting and if anyone could beat Johnson, who by the way out ran Antrel Rolle (4.4) and Dominque Rodgers-Cromartie (4.3) on an 85-yard TD.
But I'm gonna take Johnson in a photo finish over Ty jus because I think CJ might be faster now.
And you can't say PRIMETIME Deion.

hmmmmm.... This is a good one.
First off, there is no way, in my opinion, that Rondo is the fastest guy in the league.
Monta is fast, but if you check the archives, you'll find that those tremendously fast 40 times were in high school, before he hurt his knee, and before he crashed the moped.
My vote would be for T.J. Ford.
He is LIGHTNING quick!
My second choice would be a tie between Ty Lawson and Chris Paul.
But, with that being said, basketball quicks are different than football quicks. In football you need breakaway speed. Something that CJ has another gear for. In basketball, you need amazing speed, but also the ability to stop on a dime and to be in total control of yourself and the ball.
It's a toss up, but I think CJ is faster than anyone in the league.
Except maybe for Kendrick Perkins.
I've heard rumors that he is a jitterbug.

Lawson is fast. I also think Aaron Brooks and Derrick Rose are both super fast.

You watchin' this game, Graves? I can't believe that buzzer beater. You'll never believe me, but I totally called it in the air after the Nuggets didn't get any love on the other end after J.R. almost gave Manu two with the botched inbounds.

I was listening to the game. It was blacked out on nba pass.
From the sound of it, JR gave batman a black eye.
My original comment about Aaron stands but I want to add to it. He's also a tank or at least a dump truck. Just ask Oden.
